The ultra-flat specialist — and the newest addition to the PRT lineup. At just 8 mm tall, it’s up to 85% cheaper and half the height of the PRT-04, fitting where no other PRT can. The metal housing ring (hard-anodized aluminum, raw aluminum, or 316 stainless) is paired with thin iglide® J or A181 liners for a ready-to-install, completely dry-running slew ring. No balls, no rollers, no grease. No drive integration; any motion control must be handled externally. Accessories are minimal by design — stops and clamps are meant to be integrated into the host structure. Available in 100, 150, 200, and 300 mm sizes.
When to use it: Height is the binding constraint and loads are moderate; also the right call for food, packaging, or washdown environments via the A181 liner, or any application where cost reduction from a more traditional compact ring is a priority.
When not to use it: When motorized drive integration, high torsional stiffness, or a wide continuous diameter range is required.
